We want to help you tell your story. Here's ours ...
The closing curtain pulled us into the reality of the past months. The culmination of ultrasounds, social work consultations, and a revolving door of medical opinions arrived. The lead surgeon made no promises. The anesthesiologist popped his head in—”A few more minutes,” the doctor said—the thin veil of privacy wrapping us back into the statistics of our daughter’s surgery. Three out of four survive.
But what if we’re the one?
The brain is callous. Irreverent. Push it out. Try. Nothing but anger and sorrow and helplessness surface when, tomorrow, your five-day-old daughter finds herself in the tangles of one of the most complicated pediatric heart surgeries.
This is Peyton’s story. Our story. She’s pushed through two surgeries and other battles well. More await. My wife, Savannah, and I, Tyler, join the many families navigating the complexities of caring for a child with a congenital heart defect (CHD).
We wanted to create a business that combined our passions and skills with our mission to help others in the same boat as us.
So what’s your story? What’s your company all about?
Dig deep. Get to the heart of it. That’s where we can help. Storytelling is more than words. It’s everything you show the world about yourself and about your company.
It’s also the key to connecting with others. Your business grows when your story flourishes—when others see what you are about.
We make that happen by a unique design process. We collaborate. You teach us about where you have been with your business and where you’re headed. Before long, we will put the pieces together to create a website that works best for your brand.
As a Society of Professional Journalist (SPJ) award winner with written works published by the USA Today network, I saw an opportunity to use storytelling in the digital world. In 2015, I began building websites as a hobby using Bootstrap—learning HTML, CSS, and Javascript to create custom websites.
This helped me combine the craft of storytelling and web development.
Now, I leverage the power of modern tools to build websites that our clients love. We share their mission and build a site that is fast, mobile-friendly, and on brand.
The process starts with Savannah. She is a gifted organizer. As Made with Heart’s Project Manager, she takes my pie-in-the-sky mindset and grounds our processes in actionable steps, which keeps us on track and focused. As a former teacher and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificated instructor, her worldwide travels and academic expertise translate well into seeing a project’s scope and sequence.
We’d be happy to take these skills and help you succeed. Your story matters. Let’s tell it well.
